LOL,LMAO,FML,ROFL,WTF,FTW,SUBO,WUBU2,FFS,PPL

Why does everyone feel the days to abbreviate everything these days? Or substitute conversation with an abbreviation. It really winds me up! We have the internet which is fast enough, and then people find that it is not quick enough that they must speed up conversation. I for one when talking to someone like to have a proper conversation and become fully engulfed in the conversation. I don't feel the need or want to use LOL -yet I still use it? Is it a trend? Is it now Habbit? Is it even now a word?
rant over.

BIG weekend now. BIG BIG BIG!!!

    LOL!

but i would say the reason for most abbreviations is it's easy to type and it in fact adds to our messaging vocabulary, we can express our laughter in so many different abbreviations.

Also, to be honest (tbh), i use lol most of the time, purely because i want to be polite and respond when whatever they have said doesn't inspire any intelligent response. If someone says an annecdote that isn't really that funny, it is the equivalent to giving a short laugh in acknowledgement, as any socially adept person would do in real life..

    Good blogging friend...

    might i add: Louis ftw
